A person repeated a bit of gossip about a neighbor. Within a few days the whole community knew the story. The person it concerned was deeply hurt and offended. Later the person responsible for spreading the rumor learned that it was completely untrue!!! The person was very sorry... And went to a wise old man to get some advice and find out what could be done to repair the damage! "Go to the marketplace, " said the wise man, "and purchase chicken feathers. The one that struck me was the man Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, Took the various means to get to work But before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.
